Important News And Updates

Unauthorised vaccines warning
When you intend to buy a puppy please check its vaccination card thoroughly. Please note that there are reports of unauthorised vaccines being administered in unknown circumstances to puppies in the UK. If anything raised your concerns before or after getting a puppy e.g. uncertainty if vaccine used is authorised in the UK, lack of veterinary practice details, lack of vet’s signature, vaccination card not completed thoroughly and you are in doubt, feel free to seek our advice.
These are examples of how an unauthorised vaccine may look like:

LEPTO 2 NOBIVAC and LEPTO 2 CANIGEN VACCINES were DISCONTINUED
MSD Nobivac Lepto2 and VIRBAC Canigen Lepto2 vaccines were discontinued by the manufacture and are no longer available. On your next Nobivac or Canigen Lepto annual booster we will discuss with you Lepto 4 vaccination. The good news is that when your dog is over 15 months old, their vaccination is not overdue and you switch to Lepto 4 vaccination the 2nd required Lepto 4 jab ( administered 4 weeks after the 1st one) will be free of charge. This applies to 2nd jabs given by the end of April 2026.
MICROCHIPPING REQUIREMENTS
All dogs in the UK must be microchipped and registered by the time they’re 8 weeks old. If you live in England your cat must be microchipped and registered by the time theyÂ’re 20 weeks old. This includes cats that usually only stay indoors. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland you can choose to microchip your cat. This gives you a better chance of finding it if it’s lost or stolen.
