Unauthorised vaccines warning

When you intend to buy a puppy please check its vaccination card thoroughly. Please note that there are reports of unauthorised vaccines being administered in unknown circumstances to puppies in the UK. If anything raised your concerns before or after getting a puppy e.g. uncertainty if vaccine used is authorised in the UK, lack of veterinary practice details, lack of vet’s signature, vaccination card not completed thoroughly and you are in doubt, feel free to seek our advice.
These are examples of how an unauthorised vaccine may look like:

LEPTO 2 NOBIVAC and CANIGEN VACCINES DISCONTINUED

MSD Nobivac Lepto 2 and VIRBAC Canigen Lepto 2 vaccines are being discontinued by the manufacturer. There is still some limited stock available but it’s expected to run out in the near future. We will have in our offer Lepto 2 vaccines as long as they are available from the wholesalers. On your next Nobivac or Canigen Lepto booster we will discuss with you Lepto 4 vs Lepto 2 vaccination. The good news is that when your dog is over 15 months old and you decide to switch from Lepto 2 to Lepto 4 vaccination, the 2nd required Lepto 4 jab (administered 4 weeks after the first one) will be free of charge.

MICROCHIPPING REQUIREMENTS

All dogs in the UK must be microchipped and registered by the time they’re 8 weeks old. If you live in England your cat must be microchipped and registered by the time theyÂ’re 20 weeks old. This includes cats that usually only stay indoors. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland you can choose to microchip your cat. This gives you a better chance of finding it if it’s lost or stolen.
